About Amy
Amy’s extensive experience in the nonprofit sector and her technical expertise allow her to provide customers with best practices in the fundraising industry and a comprehensive perspective on conversions, donor-centered stewardship, direct marketing, and online strategies. Amy was a major gifts officer at the University of Minnesota, where she gained experience with major and planned gifts, moves management, donor stewardship, event and volunteer management, and was part of a large capital campaign. At the university, Amy gained extensive experience using The Raiser’s Edge in a fundraising setting. Amy has also worked with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. At the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Amy acted as the project manager while implementing the donor database system and also worked as a development officer. At Blackbaud, Amy works with higher education customers and has led several large, long-term projects. She has worked with prominent higher education customers throughout the Midwest and East Coast. Amy has also worked with a national faith-based organization, which is the largest processor of gift annuities and other planned gifts. Amy continues to be an active volunteer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She also is involved with P.E.O., a philanthropic women’s educational organization. Amy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Marketing from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
