About Susan
Susan McLaughlin brings more than 16 years of fundraising and nonprofit administration experience to her role as a principal consultant with Blackbaud. Susan is responsible for leading enterprise-level implementations of Blackbaud solutions, including Blackbaud Enterprise CRM and The Raiser’s Edge, within the Healthcare and Human Services vertical. Prior to joining Blackbaud, Susan led the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital Foundation in Pennsylvania as its first executive director. She was responsible for all aspects of foundation management including fundraising, financial management, database management, policy development and implementation, fund distribution, marketing, and public relations. Susan began her career in fundraising at Penn State University and has also directed major gifts and annual giving programs at Juniata College. Previously, she served as vice president for advancement at Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries. Susan is a charter member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Allegheny Mountains Chapter and was recognized as the chapter’s first Outstanding Fundraising Professional in 2006. In 2009, Susan received recognition as Colleague of the Quarter by her Blackbaud peers. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She received her Certified Fund Raising Executive credential in 2000 and serves as a subject matter expert for CFRE, International.
